THE PETEK
PHILOSOPHY

Cleanliness and purity For us here at PETEK this is more than a question of measurement values. It is a question of attitude. We are convinced that our solutions are a key factor for the quality promise of our customers right around the globe.

Yes, it is legitimate here to speak of responsibility. Indeed, we shoulder that obligation every single day. We are driven by the desire to create optimum production conditions for our customers.

At PETEK, we do not view cleanliness as a status item. But instead as a never-ending task. Nothing is so good that it cannot be improved upon. We work on that – with our customers and for our customers.

Clean solutions time and again.
Ever since 1982.

1982

One man, one idea, a great story begins: MAX PETEK starts up a cleanroom technology company as a one-man business.

1991

After the first steps came the first leap, and that was a leap into self-employment: MAX PETEK REINRAUMTECHNIK is founded in Radolfzell as a one-man business. Our first genuine cleanroom innovation involved having an injection moulding machine beside a cleanroom with a conveyor belt made by Pfeiffer.

1994

Things move ahead: The company grows: To 250 m2 of floor space with 4 employees.

1997

Another innovative new development was the cleanroom-compatible divider line, making a real impression on the market. MAX PETEK establishes itself in the sector as a supplier of cleanroom systems.

2001

Space for further growth:: MAX PETEK now moves its 12 employees into new company premises: 1,000 m2 of production surface area and 300 m2 of administration premises attest to the success of the company.

2002

MAX PETEK develops a tunnel solution for a cleanroom in a machine environment – another innovation that attracted a lot of interest.

2004

Development of many innovative solutions, one of which was awarded the VDI’s Plastics Innovation Prize.

2005

When it installed a cleanroom solution directly on a customer’s premises in Shenzhen, China, MAX PETEK was taking its first successful steps towards internationalisation and customisation..

2006

The workforce has now grown to 22 - all of them trained specialists, with whom MAX PETEK Reinraumtechnik is now able to expand and specialise its business activity. This includes innovative solutions for connecting machines and cleanrooms, for example using glass tubes.

2009

At Rosenheim Technical College (FH Rosenheim), the company sets up a cleanroom for research purposes. This translates the consistently pioneering spirit of the founder into visible reality.

2011

MAX PETEK Reinraumtechnik develops a patented system for producing and packaging sterile products in injection moulding machines.

2013

Successful conclusion of a research project in cooperation with FH Rosenheim to develop cleanrooms with process-optimised energy-efficient feedback control (ReProEff).

2015

The company supports a Bachelor degree dissertation in-house on the subject of "Development, Design & Implementation of a New Cleanroom-Compatible System for Conveying Injection-Moulded Parts".

2017

Change of name to MAX PETEK GmbH & CO KG. Magnus Bähring assumes operational control of the company.

2020

The success story is continued: Nikolaus Kerssenbrock and Florian Laube take the helm and lay the groundwork for future growth.
