Material Expertise
Polypropylene (PP-H) — Proven in the Highest Cleanroom Classes
PETEK deliberately uses PP-H (homopolymer polypropylene) — a material that has established itself in semiconductor, pharmaceutical and medical device industries as a superior alternative to stainless steel and wood.
PP-H withstands virtually all chemicals used in cleanrooms and airlocks — without discolouration, material attack or restrictions on disinfection.

Unlike coated materials, PP-H consists of a homogeneous material. No layers that can peel away. No particle-critical transitions. No open edges.
